This high profile and Internationally recognised consumer magazine publisher  is looking for a Partnerships Manager to develop new routes to market for their subscriptions and other consumer beauty and fashion products.

The successful candidate will be a clear communicator who is at ease building new relationships, as well as developing and deepening existing ones. They will be a confident negotiator who has a commercial mind-set and is adept at managing P&Ls.

This newly-formed role is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic Consumer Business Development team, focussed on driving new consumer revenues and developing new consumer products.

Main tasks & responsibilities

Partner subscriptions

  • Secure new partner subscription deals, positioning the company as a key marketing partner in particular with regard to the supply of subscription product as a customer acquisition / retention tool
  • Work with the wider team to develop a “productised” proposition to take to market, pulling in other assets and products
  • Acquire market intelligence around brands running customer acquisition and retention programmes
  • Own the end-to-end process from partner pitching, commercials, contracts, pricing, customer journey and fulfilment
  • Manage partner relationships, supported by the Customer Experience Manager for onboarding, setup and invoicing

E-commerce, physical retail & employee programmes

  • Develop e-commerce and physical retail channels for print subscriptions and non-core print products, including gifting and general retail sites
  • Own the end-to-end process from partner pitching, commercials, contracts, pricing, customer journey and fulfilment
  • Build strong relationships with each partner and be the central point of contact, ensuring that the wider team is kept up to date with performance

Dynamic distribution

  • Develop new free routes to the consumer through B2B partnerships
  • Ensure that all copies distributed fulfil the required ABC rules & regulations
  • Work with the Heads of Consumer Sales & Marketing to understand required volumes and key focus titles

Key skills

  • Analytical and commercial approach

  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office (particular Excel and Powerpoint)
